Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 3/4 cups flour
2 Tbs. sguar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Blend in cream of tartar, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add flour and mix until smooth.
3. Shape dough by rounded teaspoons into balls.
4. Mix 2 Tbs. sugar and cinnamon, roll balls in mixture and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
5. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove and place on racks to cool.
